Ashland Area Emmaus Community

Let Your Light Shine!

As a Walk to Emmaus Community, our mission is to inspire and equip local church members to be leaders within their individual congregations through the 72-hour experience known as the “Walk to Emmaus.”  The Ashland Area Emmaus Community was incorporated July 9, 1990 with our beginning under the sponsorship of the Lexington Emmaus Community.

Join us in August for our Ashland Emmaus Community Picnic.  We will meet on Friday, August 19, 6:30 p.m at Wildwood Church of God (3500 S 29th Street, Ashland) at the Shelter House to the right of the Church.  Please bring a dish to share if you are able.

Our Community is made up of clergy and lay people from Eastern Kentucky, Southern Ohio and Western West Virginia. We usually meet and have our Walks at Cornerstone United Methodist Church at 2203 29th Street in Ashland, Ky.  When we are not picnicking (see above), our monthly gatherings are held on the third Friday of each month. We begin with dinner and dessert at 6:30 followed by worship at 7:15.
